James Jay Bodrato's electrical experience started in 1980 working for various electrical contractors in New York and New Jersey.  In 1982, James joined the U.S. Navy where he continued his electrical training; classes in the Navy prepared him to serve on nuclear submarines.  In 1986, he started his apprenticeship with Local 363.  Upon completion of the apprenticeship, he acquired his master electrical contractors licenses and posses them in New York and New Jersey.  His work at the Gap/Old Navy project in 1999 is where his professional relationship with Perreca began; James was the General Foreman running up to 150 man crew on this $25 million project.  From 2001-2007, he worked as a Business Agent for Local 363 and started forging many professional and political contacts throughout the Hudson Valley. During 2007, he was recruited by the Board of Director at the Construction Contractors Association to become Executive Director of the organization to promote responsible contracting in the Hudson Valley.  James rejoined the Perreca team in October 2009 to assist Perreca in its goal to be one of the top and growing electrical contractors in the country.
