Fire ravages the Roseton Electric Generating Plant in Newburgh, N.Y. the night of March 18, 1993, the heat from the fire is so intense that cables and equipment melt and are excessively damaged. The following day at 10 a.m. Perreca mobilizes management, supervision and electricians onsite to begin assessment of damage and plan for repairs.

IBM takes another technological step forward, expanding its East Fishkill, N.Y. plant so it can outfit an experimental particle beam accelerator.  Perreca Electric Co. is there to supply power and control wiring.
